    Tips on Tipping

I either leave it next to the tv or put in an envelope with "for housekeeping" written on it. Worked for me so far

I think the sales tax is about 9% in LA, so that would make it 18% which is not bad

    Is Business Class worth it??

7-9 hours in Y might not be that easy to bear. If you are taking the last flight of the evening you probably won't have the best night of sleep. But you would arrive at the destination probably around late afternoon/early evening and may be ok to recover the following night

Definitely a ballsy and shameless move. Not sure whether I would have the guts to do that

I am not picking sides or anything but then you would need to raise prices by 18-20% and dinner may not like the sticker shock.

Good thing the OP is not in Atlanta right now. It's even worse. There was 2-3 inches of snow yesterday, the whole city is a mess and everything is shut down.

Help with allocating points to get to London or France

I haven't had problems transiting through it but my guess is that it may have to do with the ground staff at the airport. More often that not there are strikes which are very disruptive and create long delays. Then luggage may get lost more often and/or delayed. Unpleasant security and staff...

    Uber Review

I've used Uber in Atlanta and Paris. Very competitive rates and soooo much better than regular cabs. Both cities are notorious for coughpy cabs and cabs in Atlanta take forever to show up.

    Tips on Tipping

If it is in the US, you do not need to tip. Any tip you add is considered additional and definitely optional. In theory, the waitstaff should be getting the tips, some places pool the tips and share them with all the staff. It is illegal for management to get its hand on the tips.

    Tips on Tipping

The only reason why tipping is required in the US is because the servers' hourly wage is a ridiculous $2-3,thus they rely on the tips to be able to feed themselves and put a roof on their heads. There are people who refuse to tip and blame it on the servers but they do not realize that changing...

    Tips on Tipping

It is quite interesting. I would imagine that in Japan what they make in the service industry would be similar to other countries whose staff gladly take the tips.

    Hotel required near O'Hare Chicago

Do you have a preference over which chain to stay with? There are plenty of hotels in that area and most chains have hotels there. Do you have a budget?

    2014 Pointsbreaks Thread.

I see two InterContinental hotels in Asia and the Mendoza one although I would imagine that they are probably not extremely busy during this time of the year.
