I am new to Westpac Altitude Qantas Black card and wanting to put through as much spend as possible before 1/8/25. Whilst I realise it mentions government spending doesn't earn points, I realise there are some other cards that say this but still give points for council rates, water bills etc...

Effective 1 May 2025, the NAB Qantas Business Rewards card no longer gives points for BPAY transactions. They have new conditions effective this date, and I have also checked my statement and not received points for BPAY payments.

I found out that points are worth $0.25 / each for cashback/giftcards which means its basically a 0.625% cashback card. (vs. the Qantas version which is 0.5 points per $ after the first $5000 spending per month)

Whilst it sounds like you have had issues, expecting a resolution within 1 day sounds unreasonable to me. A lot of companies these days take up to ~30 days to resolve an issue, so phoning every day makes you sound difficult.
