Hi all, Flying PER-SYD next Friday night on the 11:55 PM red-eye. I finish working in the city at 5:00 PM. Can I check-in, drop my bags and go to the QF lounge that early? I seem to remember once before I couldn't drop my bag until 3 hours before the fli ght?

I have to travel to KL later in the year. The simplest is Malaysian Airlines SYD-KUL. I find the QFF pages on this REALLY hard to read, but it looks like travel on MH only accrues 0.25 QFF miles and I'm not sure the status points. Am I better flying SYD-SIN on QF and then SIN-KLU on MH? Michael

Not sure. But LOTS of bags tagged with printed tags and no "priority" marker, and LOTS of bags with "transfer" tags ... and, the first flight I mentioned, my bags were virtually LAST OFF!
