I had exactly the same on the way back last time drewbles. The dessert tho was a bit disappointing, it lacked any real flavour. Didn't take any pictures. On the way over, I had - King Smoked salmon with green papaya salad and Thai dressing (quite yummy) - Lamb cutlets with rosemary potatoes...

Hey DGW, did you get a chance to update this? curious to know what the current menu is.

Decided to try this out for a flight this Friday, SYD -> PER. Previously booked a cheap saver fare (SG, so lounge beforehand), but decided to try my luck at "Upgrade Me". $350 bid for J, was successful. This was below their "Good" rating, (i.e. below half way), think I should have went lower...

And that's the one thing that i dislike about Melbourne Airport. It's almost not worth going to the lounge to have to go in and out, if you only have say 30 minutes.

So, i had this on the menu tonight, in the Tuna and Chickpea Salad at the Melbourne lounge I hope they don't roll this out elsewhere. mentioned it to Lounge staff and VA already) n.b. it's a rock.

I actually got an automated email from VA for feedback on this flight. I know what I'm going to give them...

I got a choice of the Beef pie or the Chickpea salad, but they had only loaded 4 and 4 of each. so I ended up with the Chickpea salad! But it was actually very nice. I'l post my pics up shortly.
