Zero attempt at enforcing priority boarding on a range of recent flights ex-SYD, PER and ASP. What gets me most is that it wouldn’t slow down boarding to actually enforce the priority rules; it just means the priority pax get on first.

You should be able to double dip and claim the points from Delta and ORC from QF. Getting QF to deliver though does appear to be increasingly challenging gong. Good luck.

I read it that the OP wants to add their QR Platinum to access the lounge but that it is on a QF flight. As noted above, should be doable but will need to change to the QR number for lounge access then seek to change it back to QF for the flight.

I hadn’t thought of that. One of the key benefits of the T1 transfer facility was their helpfulness in rebooking onto earlier flights and managing misconnects (including on separate tickets). Pushing everything to the phone line is going to be sub-optimal.

Can you select the seats you want when using MMB? If that’s working, then all good. Otherwise, may need to try again. It took a few minutes when I did it for the new FFP number to propagate through the various systems.

That’s actually a big difference if the connection is a bit tight, especially if queues are horrific at T3. But, more importantly, QF has published next to no info to clarify what the service actually entails. Just tell us what the offer is and we can make decisions about whether SYD or MEL or...

Status update: 2xJ approved for release on QF35 in July. They also approved QF81 and QF35.

Had success getting 2xJ released on QF12 in August but that was one of about 11 flights over three different days we tried. Trying at the moment for seats to SIN or BKK in July to connect on to HEL but awaiting the outcome of manual review.
