Citibank Plus - No Fee No Overseas Transaction Fee Account

I can confirm first hand: The card does work for a couple days but then it ceases to work as it'll identify the card as an overseas card. You simply then need to register the card on the tfl website and it'll keep working. Also when you register you get the benefit of seeing the history and...

I kinda liked the box. The travel wallet wasn't my thing, but I can imagine some people would like it.

Citibank Select Card Rewards transfer rate to Velocity/Kris/Asiamiles?

Though they say 3 weeks, in my experience doing an online transfer takes approx 2-3 days to appear. Also there would have been links to transfer the points to either Virgin, SIA, or AsiaMiles.

The bonus points would be for CitiRewards, which can then be transferred to either Virgin or Singapore at 1.5 CR to 1 frequent flyer mile, or Asia Miles at 2 CR to 1 FF mile. AKAIK, the 80k bonus points is for transferring to CitiRewards, and not Qantas.

28° Mastercard Cash Advances while overseas [No more free cash advances from 1/1/14]

Once I'm back and I have excess cash on the card I head to the nearest westpac and start withdrawing. You can only manage $1000 per day, but I can do more with it vs it just sitting there on the card.

Transfers from Incheon (Seoul) to Yongpyong

I recently came back from South Korea and went to Alpensia, which is very close to Yongpyong. Unfortunately you would have missed the direct shuttle bus to Yongpyong from Incheon so you'll probably have to do things the hard(er) way. Enjoy Your Life? Say, "YongPyong" Your best option is to take...

Citibank Select Card Rewards transfer rate to Velocity/Kris/Asiamiles?

I've had Citi Select for over 1.5 years and it's been my experience that they do not charge any currency conversion fee, contrary to what the documents may say. So whilst overseas I use my select for credit purchases and 28 degrees to withdraw cash and pay for those cash only places. Works well.
