Change to Qantas Lounge Pass Transfers Effective July ‘26

This is a far better solution for Qantas. They make money selling the passes to banks, then have most of them spoil because they cannot be used by customers.

    Qantas does Vegas direct

FYI Qantas had 7 sales last year where J pricing to the US hit this level. Basically every other month. This is the second of this year, so the trend is continuing.

Where's all the UA J (Polaris) TPAC availability gone?

VA's USA partner is United, and United have made a business decision to restrict award seats to its own members (specifically elites and credit card holders). Not much VA can do about it.

QF Double Status Credits February 2026 Promo

It currently means nothing. Pure speculation on the part of the poster. Qantas has known about this matter for a decade and chosen to do nothing about it each year. QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

    US Amex Travel Insurance Coverage

I've never relied on it, especially because most US cards don't cover medical. And I wouldn't risk it with something like car rental insurance where the cost of not being covered could be very extensive.

Will you still earn/retain Velocity status beyond 2025?

You are wrong about what is an active member. For Qantas, inactive members are defined as 'Members who have not redeemed a flight in the previous 5 years'. It's not someone who forget to switch off their Everyday Rewards to Qantas earn.
