We’re on QF162 this morning. Left the Doubletree around 4:35-4:40. HLO. In the but security queue by 4:55. No priority queue. Only one side of scanners open. At about 4:58 the second side of scanners opened and the line started moving really quickly. We were at gate 48 by 5:15.

QF529 BNE-SYD Delayed by about 50mins, left at 1:45 instead of 12:55. Chicken with parmesan mushroom sauce and polenta or Salmon with soba noodles salad. I hate mushrooms, so had the latter.

Made it to BNE J Lounge for the whirl down to SYD. Flight’s delayed by 40 mins, glad we had a generous transfer time. Had to nibble on a Japanese vegetable curry pie as I couldn’t wait for the flight!

I'm trying to book CHC-BNE-SYD-LAX-SYD-BNE-CHC through the QF multi city site and it's just not working, can't figure out the fare. If I do CHC-BNE-LAX-BNE-CHC, it works fine, but only gives me options for QF15/16 and I'd prefer 11/12. Thoughts? Or is this a TA job only?
