Life Time Gold - The [Realistic] Holy Grail

Could not tell you when I made silver However 2001-24 for LTG even with 99% of flying on domestic QF 75% international the rest on partner airlines PLUS all the strategy on here (JASA DSC) and the flight I fell over the line was a JAL F Never paid for Qantas club but always with lounge access...

QANTAS security breach-2 separate flights were cancelled without Authorisation by my ex-husband through his QFF Account on-line.

I had the situation of having split a booking (which I couldn’t do online) involving a friend whom I fell out with and myself that QF would NOT refund his ticket paid on my credit card without HIS Authorisation. That was a difficult moment and at least he came to the party and gave QF that...

Very disappointed about Qantas FF program

This is where we need to adjust our thinking cause we are “sold a pup” Lots of people have set specific dates and locations which adds to inflexibility or get to booking too late because they don’t know they gotta book a year out (or a eeek ahead) There’s also the low supply locations (can...

    Adelaide Plaza Premium Domestic Lounge

At $29, it’s definitely a decent option when there’s no other QF were asking $54 plus for lounge access at breakfast time (shudder to think the price for afternoon drinks)

    Public Transport for Seniors

We had some stats on fare evasion When there were no gates at Adelaide railway station it was about 50% free riders. Even now people on the outer harbour / grange lines can hop off at Bowden and get on the free tram to the city thus getting an entirely free trip to town

Qantas higher price when logged in to FF account

Is this a thing ? Or I notice when booking two or more this would happen as it would NOT allow you to buy two tickets together at different price points

Article: Is Your Hotel’s Minibar Trying to Trick You?

Yes I accept there’s theft So what do the hotels expect ? Placing temptation right there for impulsive spend ? Without anyway to enforce it Best that mini bars go the way of the dodo. Get rid of them

Article: Is Your Hotel’s Minibar Trying to Trick You?

Makes me wonder if that’s the type of hotel I’d wish to stay in Overpolicing the mini bar They ought just remove them or include them in the tariff

    Superannuation Discussion + market volatility

There’s the bank account style capital where there’s no tax paid on an existing capital amount in the account Then there’s the unrealised capital gains (on shares or property) that’s not taxed until it’s realised by sale and that’s concessionally taxed in the SMSF and not taxed after pension...
