I do prefer the SYD lounge, but I have to say that the Spice Bar is streets ahead of any food offerings there.

With those prices, I'd be looking at booking a completely different (quality) airline.

Don't know about the stats for Australia, but I've just read in the Guardian UK that bookings from the UK to the USA are up 20% at the moment. Must be the lovely welcome that's possibly in store, (perhaps consider deleting some of your Social Media posts now).

Well that may (or not) be correct, but on my flight MNL-AUH in March, most seats in business class are already taken. I think there is a lot of demand for cheap quality bus class setas out of MNL. I've never been on an EY flight out of MNL that hasn't been full in J. But YMMV.

Yes, those zeros (I have 2) are crucially important. Leave them off and you're a nobody. I'm flying to TPE J in feb and it will be interesting to see how it goes. I'm expecting it to be quite seamless with lounge access....

Yes, that's good, but 3x3x3 on a 787 for 10 hours with any amount of service is pretty brutal, from my perspective.

Yeah, the service is variable and IMO Al Safwa isn't all that others have cracked it up to be. No doubt a great piece of architecture, but it felt "cold" and the staff were rather wooden. The Etihad FCL at AUH beats it hands down IME. And I just don't get why people are paying over the odds to...
