    Please don’t be this guy

To be honest, I was pretty tempted to have a word with the passenger today. But then I took a deep breath and figured it wasn’t worth risking creating an enemy when we hadn’t even taken off yet. I don’t think he would have taken my “feedback” well. Curious what others think about the best...

Extremely Cheap Etihad Business Class MNL-Italy-SE Asia

Yeah, not my favourite thing either, but that flight is usually not full. I had a whole row to myself. Same on the United flight, actually.

    Please don’t be this guy

Sometimes the sense of entitlement people show when travelling astounds me. After boarding a Cathay Pacific flight, the older gentleman sitting in front of me in Economy flagged down a cabin crew member and simply said “You normally give me a bottle of Evian”. No please, no thank you, just...

Extremely Cheap Etihad Business Class MNL-Italy-SE Asia

QF or SQ would be the main options, both with one stop but easy enough (and you can often book with points). For something different, last week I flew BNE-ROR on QF and then ROR-MNL on UA. With 3 days in Palau along the way. Was great (even if both flights were on 737s)!

    Qantas international Economy Class meals

I think this is one of those routes. A crew member just went through the aisle to warn everyone to eat before getting on the return flight and to bring extra snacks because they only serve a small snack bag on the return flight and it’s not substantial.

    Qantas international Economy Class meals

Seems so. I wonder if they have limited catering on board because they need the galley space to store the snacks for the return flight tomorrow? (There’s no caterer in Palau.) Still, for a 6-hour flight that’s not exactly cheap, I’m not impressed.

    Qantas international Economy Class meals

QF165 BNE-ROR The economy meal options were pasta carbonara, a chicken salad with Japanese rice or an unadvertised vegetarian dish with tofu. The pasta was fine but I was still hungry afterwards. There’s no bread roll, dessert or any other accompaniments to go with the meal. Beer and wine...

    AFF bingo

Can anyone get five in a row? Can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. 😛 I don't think I can with my flying history. Would be interested to hear the stories of anyone who can.

    VA's Audience Demographic

There was a point where I stopped flying JQ for about 5 years, specifically because I got sick of being screwed over by their poor IRROPs handling. I eventually gave JQ another go, but never if I'm in a hurry to get to my destination.
