Club Jetstar Certainly Seems to Pay for Itself.

Last time I looked it was about $10-$15 discount per flight for a Club member, so would need to take around 5 Jetstar flights a year to come out ahead?

    Flybuys transfer bonus promo email

Got an email today 500 bonus flybuys + 500 bonus Velocity points if I turn on auto transfer by 31/01/2026 Alternatively make a manual transfer of at least 1000 flybuys points to get 250 bonus flybuys + 250 bonus Velocity points. Doesn’t seem like a very generous offer and think it may be...

Domestic flights from Melb/Syd international terminals

I did this flight in economy around a year ago, mainly because it was actually the cheapest flight for the date/time I needed. But the risk of lengthy delays (anyone know why these flights are so unreliable?), isn’t worth the hassle, even with F lounge access. I’d consider doing it in business...

Jetstar Same Day Change (flex bundle)

Did you ever use it? Just come across this benefit while looking for flights and considering the Flex fare for QFF points & SC. Surprised not to find many comments about it here on AFF forum since it seems like a good benefit if it works as described. Has anyone successfully used it or is it...

Jetstar no longer selling Max bundle in Economy

If you buy it on the Jetstar website (usually around $60 more) then it's 800 points / 10 SC. If you buy on the Qantas website (usually $200-$400 more) then it's 1200 points / 20 SC.

Do JQ sell business cabin on these domestic international sectors on the 787, or economy only?

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

I called BP about my 3x 250 promo points never arriving and they said it wasn't a BP promo but a Qantas promo and to speak to Qantas. But then she randomly said she could manually credit my account with 500 'goodwill' Qantas points which arrived the next day. But of course they're not backdated...

Card payment sucharges banned in Australia from 2026

I always laugh at generic surcharge signs like that... "thanks for helping us keep our prices lower" ... by paying us a higher price, at a mystery amount, because we didn't bother putting it on the sign! Then you ask the staff and they have no idea and say stuff like "no one else has ever asked...

AMP Bank Everyday Account - earns Qantas Points

Has anyone got the 1,000 bonus points yet for the 10x transactions from this promotion? I've only got the monthly points for balance, not the bonus. Will be annoyed if they arrive after 31 Dec and doesn't get counted for the 'status credits on the ground' promo.

Card payment sucharges banned in Australia from 2026

so how is this still legal? thought if they didn't accept cash they couldn't surcharge cards?

Card payment sucharges banned in Australia from 2026

I’m not entirely against surcharges but the way they are currently allowed without proper price transparency should be illegal. The payment terminal displays a price for you to pay, you tap your card and the price on the screen changes to the higher price including a surcharge after the...

Re SYD T2/T3, Sydney domestic airport, is it still walkable from either to Ibis budget/

Does anyone know if the Holiday Inn Express is still easily walkable to/from T3 after all the recent road changes in the area? Specifically are there still pedestrian crossings to cross over Qantas Dr at the Seventh Street intersection? And would it be ok late at night - assume it's still well...

Card payment sucharges banned in Australia from 2026

Their tantrums are amusing, because it's basically free money that's being taken away from them, but also do they think we're completely stupid and don't know that surcharges are banned in other countries and their business hasn't collapsed there?!

New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

The way they ran this promo has made me less interested in chasing lifetime status than I was before. It's made me realise they're experimenting with changes that make it harder to reach. Also the backflip was welcome but was handled poorly, and a bit eye-opening that they can just change the...

New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

I wish I was able to use a competent travel agent for my business travel. Every company I've worked for we always seem to be forced to use the most incompetent ones. Amex GBT in particular was the absolute peak of uselessness and even when given exact flight details of what you wanted, they...

    NAB acquires Citibank Australia

I logged a complaint with NAB about this and asked them to explain how the new fees improve security and convenience. Several days later they sent me the following response which was quite obviously written by ChatGPT or some other AI. "The introduction of new overseas access fees on your...

New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

I managed to get a booking created with our corporate travel agent, however they didn't add my QFF number to the booking at time of booking, I went in and added it in after. Does anyone know if that will still be ok for DSC?

New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

Yeah but I also don't think they ever changed a promo after it already started. It's only fair if they now extend it by at least 1 day or 2 since they launched it late Wednesday night but then changed it Friday afternoon. (and for business travel we now lose another 2 days over the weekend...

New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

Any chance you can ask them to extend the booking window now beyond 3 September?... I have some work trips in November and March that I didn't bother starting the process for when I thought the DSCs weren't going to count towards LTG. Now with the U-turn I'm interested in booking them sooner...
