A delightful '17 Barossa Shiraz that was gifted to me by an AFFer. Just love those tannins that make it a Barossan.

We started this limited release Semillon with our Friday Fry Up of flat head fillets, crumbed prawns and crumbed calamari. We finished the wine tonight with lime and lemon pork fillets. The citrus notes paired perfectly with the food on both days.

Unfortunately the last couple of times the voucher was not available for use on it.

I've really enjoyed drinking this fortified, especially with a cheese given to me by a Tassy based AFFer. IIRC his daughter made the cheese. Yummy!

I ordered some of the Serafino late yesterday and got a message after about 20 minutes that my order was ready. As the store is only up the road, I was tempted to go and collect it straight away in case it got flagged (during office hours?) but thought I'd wait. Called in this morning shortly...

Liquorland Burnside Village is the old VC and they stock what VC used to stock. Who knows, it could be the best LL in the country.

Maybe because I live in ADL but I've had a few wines from Serafino that I've enjoyed.
