I have both - Reserve would be better in most cases. Travel credit $400 vs $200. In general, 2 MR points (vs 1 in the case of Edge) for every dollar spend (except for 3 MR points/$ on Supermarket transactions on Edge). However, why would one use any other AMEX card when Charge gives 2.25 MR...

Hmm. Current Charge/Reserve cardholder here. Got the Charge Card 3 or 4 years back (when they for a limited time offered welcome bonus points even to existing members with credit cards). Back then, Reserve companion card is a hidden gem and I only learnt it from other forums so I had to call up...
