LATAM ticket buggered up by QF

I wonder if whoever handled rebooking the first leg had an oopsie and cancelled the whole booking accidentally rather than just that leg. So "fixed" it by booking him on the QF flight but either hadn't noticed the onward flight to Cusco or did notice but decided to leave it for LA to fix.

LATAM ticket buggered up by QF

LA already has the funds, how can QF "steal" anything?

LATAM ticket buggered up by QF

I would say in the first instance you should try Qantas; they made the mess, they should be able to clean it up. You could point out to them that they'll presumably be on the hook for fines from Chile for flying a passenger over without a visa or onward connection.

Classic and Classic Plus domestic availability quirk

I guess this is how they can argue that Classic+ hasn't removed Classic.

New Qantas International Route from Adelaide to Auckland

Firstly they could serve breakfast on the morning flights instead of lunch. Chicken curry is not what I'm after at 9am. Also why can't they do a separate drinks service (either before or after the meal)? Flight is perfectly long enough. I'm sure that used to be a thing. 1747266352 Idea was...

    Qantas Sydney International Business Lounge

I don't understand how these things can take so long. Some new cabinetry and soft furnishings should not take over a year to complete!

    A totally unexpected surprise

Only time I ever got given a bottle of wine on a QF flight was as an apology after the FA spilled Bob Hawke's glass of red all over my leg.

    Withdrawing from Qantas Pay ?

Never mind... worked out it's because the card was locked. The app says it doesn't affect transfers but clearly it does

    Withdrawing from Qantas Pay ?

Has anyone tried pulling money out of Qantas Pay via bank transfer? I've decided since it looks like travel to the US is off for the foreseeable future I may as well pull my USD out of Qantas Pay, but the transfer keeps failing with a generic "We're experiencing technical difficulties" message...

Skytrans to Operate Lord Howe Island Route from March 2026 - Take over from Qantaslink

The FAQ on that page says Classic Plus will not be available, it makes no mention of Classic awards. The "further information" page specifically says Classic awards will still be available on codeshare: https://www.qantas.com/au/en/qantas-experience/network-and-partner-airlines/skytrans.html

New Project Sunrise test flight: Sydney to London over the South Pole in an A380

Playing with the "measure distance" tool on Google Maps, I can't get a route from SYD-LHR that goes anywhere near Antarctica without it being > 20000km, significantly longer than the A380's range afaik.
