I want to change the FF number on the booking and the MH MMB page won't let me do it. Finnair doesn't seem to recognise the booking code even though it "looks" like an amadeus code.

At a guess, if you change the return leg it forces a recalculation of the entire fare, not just that leg.

Tell the pharmac_ you need a receipt for insurance purposes and they'll print you one. You can also claim for things like flu jabs, again make sure you get a proper pharmac_ receipt.

You should be able to decline the change and get a refund (and then buy a ticket on the 8pm flight yourself). Only problem is refund may/will take some time.

Another reason to never book domestic trips as anything other than separate one-ways.

Yes they would be able to access the QF domestic J lounge before an EK flight in F.

I suppose a chatbot wouldn't necessarily be worse than the Phillipines call centre. There was a time not that many years ago when you could actually chat online to someone.

I used to measure the benefit of my QC membership in cappucinos, of course that was before they had the barrista station which made it much more complicated. Now I have to factor toasties into the equation as well?!!

CR availability is so bad these days it's effectively phased them out already.

I got 10K for non-functioning IFE in J recently, would not have accepted less than 30K for non-functioning seat.

Some possible "non issues" include: - No F on the 330s (often there's no IFE either). - Adds ~2 hours to the journey. - Possible to misconnect if late leaving Melbourne. - Introduces chance for baggage to misconnect even if you don't.

Surely that's Y and not J though? On the whole there does seem to be more CR availability out of SYD than out of MEL, even for routes with similar number of flights. Much easier to get SYD-CHC than MEL-CHC, for example.

My impression is that classic awards have been severely reduced, particularly in J, since Classic+ launched for domestic. I used to be able to get MEL/ADL in J with one or two weeks notice - now, there's usually nothing except the 6am flight within several months. Don't even think about MEL/PER...

I think that's related to rechargable power banks, a button battery should be no issue.
