    Aussie passport cost increases again!

Totally agree. My thoughts were many however don't! Never please the masses. However the passport cost as is ..well.its ridiculous. 🫤 Yeah when I got mine recently..my first ....I thought it rather poor quality.....when I compare to my UK passport ..which had its own "objectors" when they...

    Finnair to launch Melbourne-Helsinki flights

I was actually looking at pricing it the other way...ex UK or CDG as example to Melbourne in J. Comes in at just over 8,000 odd in AUD. From my search it seems to priced in that direction on par with TK.

    Finnair to launch Melbourne-Helsinki flights

No it's always been in Biz. 😁...and indeed...will stay clear of being down the back!

    Finnair to launch Melbourne-Helsinki flights

Oh I dunno. I've always had pretty good flights with AY and would always choose them, personally, over QF. Think I've done 12 long hauls with them. All perfectly good.

    Aussie passport cost increases again!

Ofcourse some European countries have been using ID cards for travel for years where appropriate between like minded countries. Then the debate starts .."but, but, but, I don't want an ID card"..blah blah.

    Aussie passport cost increases again!

Certainly a very easy source of revenue for little return ...like many things as I am learning in Australia! 🤔

    Aussie passport cost increases again!

No excuse though for having the most expensive passport going.

    Article: When Flying Ahead Backfires

I think the issue here is the attitude of the staff member. Perhaps they should be reported in some form of feedback. Should.never get away with an attitude of disinterest. Perhaps a job change suggestion is next! I've only done fly ahead once...at ADL. In biz. Worked wonderfully.

    Aussie passport cost increases again!

I see that once again somehow Australia seems to think that it deserves the title of the world most expensive passport? Why? It's ridiculously expensive for such a low population and not exactly the world most desirable...

Which is the best airline to fly from Australia to Bali?

Just booked JQfor a few days next year (first visit for me) and even the wife is coming,!! Decent times ex PER and back again. Bali max fare for 700 odd dollars return each. Extra leg room seats secured. Now just to find where to stay with own pool without breaking the bank. Ubud or Seminyak? 🤔

    Condor considering joining Oneworld alliance

I like it...different colours on different aircraft ..they always did try to be "different". Once took one of their stretched 757s from Málaga to Dusseldorf...always remember the flight deck announcement of " welcome onboard our 757 to Dusseldorf powered by Condor".

    All of them....overpriced! 😕

Which is the best airline to fly from Australia to Bali?

From Perth there are about 10 flights a day in peak...so arrival and departure times are certainly of choice! (All LCC naturally)!

Which is the best airline to fly from Australia to Bali?

Ah yes. But hard to justify a direct flight in 3 hours for 800 dollars against a SQ route via SIN for 4,000 dollars in J. SQ are about 900 dollars return down the back for the route on around 11 hours.

Which is the best airline to fly from Australia to Bali?

Has anyone actually flown TransNusa? Plenty saying the would not but not seen any first hand experience reports. Still thinking Bali direct from PER. Choice is Jetstar, Air Asia. BATIK, TransNusa. Maybe shudder at them all!! 🤪. Routing via SIn or KUL etc not an option for what is a 3 hour flight...

    Velocity Wrapped for 2025

No more flying this year either 😕 And I've spent a total of 70 hours in the sky, covering an impressive 30,198 kilometres across our destinations. Virgin Australia flights you earned a total of 60,224 Velocity Points and 500 Status Credits and additional 78,846 Velocity Points and 280 Status...

Article: Virgin Australia Finally Refreshes Its Lounge Wines

Nothing wrong with free pour...many lounges offer it. Also it's ridiculous having to Q at Aussie lounges (well done within VA) just to get a beer!! The pics show how BA do it!..and no ne of this "oh dear it's not noon yet nonsense". !🤪
