Yeah I know what you are saying but again I suppose it allows for decent connections during the afternoon into KUL and then what is really in theory, an early evening flight out of KUL for PER. I agree though a departure around 2pm ex KUL would be nice.

The 02.10 (although it's usually late) departure is not weird at all. It's arrival time in KUL is very good for many onward connections in Malaysia and beyond for late morning/lunch time arrivals at destination.

Overnight flight outbound. Y much cheaper but really don't fancy being within a tin of sardines. The price from Perth is very good in "biz" considering it's cheaper than flying VA 737 in biz between Perth and Sydney and back!

Yeah that's a good price ex MEL. Everything from PER costs more so happy enough with mine also. Ex PER the row one was 350 dollars on top of fare. How about ex MEL?

Just booked via VA with VA flight code PER-AKL-PER on ANZ metal 2,500AUD return. Good price. Booked it twice!🤪🤣. It's also good you can choose seats etc. Decent ANZ lounge at PER etc. I guess reasonable points return for the cost....

I was thinking of a wee trip to Samoa. Not for long but during 2026. Routing and booked via Air New Zealand, in biz, would be PER-AKL-APW-AKL-PER. Can I just ask..and get confirmed, that by putting in my VA details on the ANZ site while booking, I do get VA status and points etc?
