A change in leadership won't mean much. Same goes for the airline side too. You don't get to the top (or be next in line) without playing the game. Therefore, expect business as usual. Want change? Need a wildcard.

The big problem with Qantas is their benchmark of success is Virgin. Nobody is pushing them to be better. Outside of Australia, Qantas is a nothing-burger brand. Internationally, nobody gives two hoots about QF, and travellers definitely wouldn't pay any kind of premium to fly them. I think...
