FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

SPG, AA, UA transfer options? If Citi adds all of them, then it kills other credit cards in the market.

Macquarie Bank takes over from HSBC

There is no free lunch, I think I read some posts in somewhere else that even you cancel your credit card, your account will stay open for another 2 months, which allows merchants to charge back just in case. Any charges after you close your account within 2 months, you are still liable to pay...

Macquarie Bank takes over from HSBC

I will cancel mine next year, as HSBC waived current year's annual fee for me. Credit card market has never been so competitive, there are indeed lots of good deals around.

Amex Platinum Edge - No annual fee for the first year

Glad to hear that, but that offer is not good enough IMHO, especially compare with new applicant they treat.

Amex Platinum Edge - No annual fee for the first year

Offer is only available for new customer only. If you are holding any AMEX card within last 12 months, you are NOT eligible. If you are loyalty with AMEX since previous years, you are NOT eligible. If you are larger spender etc, you are NOT eligible. If you cancel your cards 12 months ago, then...

FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

AMEX MR was not bad before it changed its earning scheme, if Citi includes either SPG or AA transfer in their new program, then I don't see any competitive advantage on AMEX MR. If you prefer travelling oneworld, AA gives one of the best redemption. If you prefer travelling *alliance, then...

Bankwest reduces rate from 16 may

I doubt, and you might end up paying new annual fee. It is not upgrade, it is actually a product switch.

FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

If that becomes real, then Citi will send AMEX to grave, especially those high spenders who are holding Platinum charge, Centurion etc. and even Qantas cards will suffer as well, AA FFP is unbeatable to QF & VA.

Bankwest reduces rate from 16 may

Does Zero come with "World" version as well, I thought only More and Qantas do.

Bpay will be excluded points earning scheme from 23/11/2012

Dude, that is bad luck indeed. I posted this thread almost 2 years ago, and canceled my Diamond card after that, could not believe CBA still ripped you off.

ANZ Platinum FF Points being capped??

I don't think they will credit the entire fee, maybe only $240 annual fee and you still need to pay $55 rewards fee. I still have no idea why ANZ charges their annual fee like that, none of the other majors do, maybe ANZ rewards program is running by another party.

Bankwest reduces rate from 16 may

Probably will be called either black or Diamond Qantas card.

    MH heavy discounting

I know I should not search this route, however I'm just curious. It seems MH is giving its ticket for free except fuel & airport charges in Economy. At the same time, most of the other airlines charge more than $1500.

Citibank SPG transfer option on iphone app

It only shows "your card is not eligible" and nothing further.

Earning QFF Points - EDR Qantas Credit Card

HSBC does not award transaction by transaction, it will count your total expense during the statement and then allocate points on the full amount, however if your total amount in your statement is $150.6, then you will get 151 QFF points, if it is $150.4, you will get 150 points.
