Indeed anything out if Doha will be expensive as a revenue. Possibly must cheaper from Europe to Doha. Also you might find simply ex Singapore, Hong Kong, Bali or Bangkok to Europe and back then revenue or points based tickets to Australia (say using VA in SQ metal) would be a much better...

Personally, without kids,...😁..I prefer the afternoon SQ departure from PER and the evening SQ departure fron SIN getting into PER for mid night. 😁. Home.by half past midnight or so and in bed after some nice food and drinkies.

Wish it was status credits and not points!! I see same prices for various destinations on VA and on SQ site. I was looking for early next year.

When I think about it...Perth is therefore well served with Singapore flight options. X4 Singapore Airlines, X2 Scoot (I think daily), and the X1 Qantas. Not that bad with SCOOT being as cheap as. Just waiting for Jetstar to take over entirely the Qantas flight! 😜

Think most Aussie departures ex SIN are around that same time in the evening? When I do it I see build up in lounge for a few Aussie departures...

Could make it "more interesting" if they will still have the Sydney to Busselton, via PER ofcourse, then Perth to Singapore ...(I'm sure when I looked the price Sydney to Busselton was cheaper than Perth to Busselton!! 🙄😁

Can't see that they care much about who and what number is in the lounge tbh. It might be that they think it is a better time to compete with the three daily SQ?...noting however that QF don't really do competition....😁 Can't see them thinking much about east coasters wanting to connect at PER...

Actually Air Berlin had a fairly extensive route service out of German regionals also Zurich and a very large base ironically at Palma Majorca. London Stansted had quite a few and Glasgow served London (Stansted) even with Air Berlin. Flew them often back in the day on many routes. .
