The same thing happened to me. Letter turned up way more than 31 days past the payment date. After trying and failing to get advice on the phone I just decided to pay the full amount owing and wait and see what happens. I seriously doubt they will try and send the money back.

QF pass definitely can’t be used at JFK. Options are AA paid or checking the Lounge Meet Up threads to see if any members are in JFK T8 when she is departing.

Or alternatively use my method on the App. It also generates the AA PNR once the ticket number is in.

You can only use the website if you know the AA PNR You do not need it for the App it allows you to input the QF ticket number.

You can choose seats. Download the AA app. Put your QF ticket number into it and you should be able to manage your booking including seat selection

Did the email say anything about lack of demand or is that your interpretation of the email saying it’s been pulled?

Arrivals access for Platinum is well documented on the QF website. The lack of mentioning it on the general lounge access page doesn’t preclude it. The OP’s colleague/ friend has nothing on the QF website that states they have F lounge access when their next onward flight is something other...

No access to the MEL F lounge. He has to be flying either EK or OW airline to get access. I don’t think any access to MEL F on a separate QF ticket but I’m not 100% sure on that.
