Qantas changed flight for complimentary lounge pass

I can't believe it, the booking has changed back to the ADL lounge for the second sector. I am not crazy or drunk by the way, it was definitely linked to the wrong flight/lounge yesterday. I gather QF Club was closed for a period so perhaps re-opening it has resolved the issue. Strange though...

Qantas changed flight for complimentary lounge pass

Absolutely, but moving the booking to another flight with no notification is garbage. It probably doesn't help that we are on separate bookings which I can't do anything about now, or that he is 16. We will be turning up regardless.

Qantas changed flight for complimentary lounge pass

Here's new one I think. I am travelling with my 16 year old son on Monday, MEL to ADL and ADL to KGC. These are separate bookings. I linked complimentary lounge passes for each of us for the second flight as we have nearly 2 hours in Adelaide and will want some breakfast. I logged in to his...

Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

Well this might seem frugal, but I just did a 10% off with renewal due and I am going to cancel and join again in January.

Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

Having multiple accounts has resulted in better offers for us. If you don't use one for a few weeks the spend amounts come down. I have 3 EDR and 2 Flybuys to choose from each shop.

Second Test, Australia v England, 4-8 December 2025

Yes! Aussies to get a lead if 100+. Poms to capitulate in their second innings.

The vegan option again looks pretty disappointing. Kind of "here's all the veges that come with meat dishes".

    What cheeses me off

WCMO is Qantas cancelling the last flight from out of ADL to MEL on the Sunday of Gather Round (I mean, really) and force you to cut it too fine on an earlier flight, or go later on Jetstar. Allegedly with a meal voucher included but not seat selection. Edit: looks like we do get seat selection...

Amazing Business Class Fares SOF-ADL R?T

I don't know you, you might have been. The original link you posted had direct with airline for over $6500 and about $4100 with third parties, hence my warning. If that's an issue for you, just ignore it. It might help someone else who comes across this thread.

Amazing Business Class Fares SOF-ADL R?T

I'd do my due diligence on those sites given some of the horror stories eg booking.com

    Little things I like

For those following the opposite thread, I arrived at my barber this morning 5 minutes after opening. One person was already in the chair so I was next and I just made it before a couple of retirees ;) Then at 7:35 walked into pathology a few doors down, also 5 minutes after opening and hungry...

    What cheeses me off

WCMO even more is webforms that don't specify accepted card types. I had one yesterday that displayed the Amex logo after the first 2 or 3 digits, but didn't tell me Amex wasn't accepted until I submitted the form.

    What cheeses me off

WCMO is Kris Kringle when you put a lot of thought into what to get for the allotted budget that will appeal to almost anyone (when recipients are random) only to end up with some dud present in return. Worst I had was a $15 event where I ended up with some bedazzled iPhone cover for an old...

    Made any travel mistakes lately?

I'll be honest I thought the fact that I was very polite might have worked in my favour (25 mins to change the name on a booking might make others less polite) but I just found the name on the booking changed back. I called and they could see that I was right, said they would make the change...

United Airlines argues ‘window seat’ does not mean ‘seat with a window’

I get it, I was just amused at the idea of a wall preference.

Fair point, although you do get to set a seating preference, aisle or window. No wall option.

    Made any travel mistakes lately?

I booked the wrong child on a QF Reward flight to accompany me a few months ago. I am not totally absent minded, just decided to change who got to fly vs who got to drive (perhaps downsizing the family car as the family enlarged was the true mistake). Anyway a week after changing the name there...
