While it may seem unfair if it's just a once off thing, imagine if they allowed it. You could imagine stacks of sale tickets being snapped up by people with no intention of flying.

Whether partner flights show up in the app is neither here nor there on the time they take to credit. I don't know what the BA timelines are, but they could take up to a week. They get processed in a batch on some agreed timeline. I would say give it a week (Qantas says give it 14 days) or so...
