Have found many hotels are offering some great deals when booking direct - much better than the general discount travel booking websites and almost all are flexible Pay on Arrival. Win win for both parties really in the current climate.

Had the sparkling wine today on WLG-BNE - was very average. Actually passed it back to the CSM. She advised feedback has not been so positive to it on NZ flights. No idea what it was but the chardonnay was better. The pork and shiitake deconstructed pie however was delicious. :)
