I know it is on the radar with officials. Probably not as big a concern in Sydney at the moment but I think it is clear that intentionally spreading will result in quite a significant economic impact (and spread fear) especially in some states/areas of Australia.

Does any body actually believe for one second the states are going to follow this? Do you think WA won’t slam down it’s border on whatever justification it feels like regardless of former agreements (like it does now) and conversely does anyone honestly think if NSW achieves 70 or 80%...

This is a key selling point for QF over VA. My company does a lot of SYD-PER travel - and amazingly, even with a BFOD policy (which allows a buffer of $50 towards QF as the preferred airline) everyone magically seems to book a QF A330.... :p

Partly true in some SA and Sydney but Brisbane (with many business hotels shut for quarantine) and many parts of regional NSW (try Newcastle!) definitely not ‘never been cheaper’ with many services/amenities reduced.

Used this at QT Canberra in early December - they took the $40 per night off the bill at the end regardless of the discounts applied with dining. As a Balck cardholder I don’t know how they made any money with that stay ... would be interested to see the response you get from PGR

Assume this is the Hyatt Centric which was announced .. and then all went quiet? Would have rathered a Hyatt ... typically avoid Accor hotels. But good to see some new hotels in Hobart!

Same - use it mainly for the free bottles of wine on whilst dining as a few regular places are on there :p
