A question for those who have paid the carbon offset on a pre-existing booking. Assuming the leaf eventually appears, is the effective date the day the offset was paid for or the day it actually posts to your account?

I'ld like to get my QFF points close to zero but the lack of CR availability is preventing this. Last year I needed to find seats from EUR to AUS in December with about six months notice. I searched every QF partner for seats from every airport and wasn't able to find a single option into Aus...

Thanks for thinking of me but the reason I needed to book by the 11th was I had an Amex credit expiring and if I remember correctly I wouldn't get the credit back. I managed to use it on a sale fair so I'm OK with what I have.:)

Probably will, although I have a shipload of points already and with the lack of CR availability I'm not finding double points particularly exciting either.

It did for me. I had a couple of Amex credits expiring so decided to cash them in during the sale. Since reaching LTG I find DSC to be far less attractive (unlikely to reach WP) although I might pick up a couple of vouchers.
