SQ A350 LH J seats have to also be flipped over for bed mode. The 777 seats are more spacious than on the 350. But, yeah, the 350 has a much quieter cabin than the 777.

Stayed at Sydney Hilton two nights ago. First time since the new exec lounge opened on L1. Our room upgrade was actually a downgrade. It was to exec floor (L36) in the area where the old exec lounge was, and where they have now squeezed in more rooms. Our room was much smaller (narrower)...

Just looking at renewing ours (a couple, ie two people) now. Cover-more through Virgin Australia seems okay at $618 for the Plus cover, jumps up to $907 for 45 day trip duration. QF twice the price.

No problem if you can be finished breakfast by 6:30am, express checkout, then not more than 20 minutes to any gate in T3 (unless you suffer option (c)!).

It's refreshment and then a full-on lunch later in the flight, including the famous satay (in J). That would be my preference (instead of breakfast and a later refreshment) - I can have breakfast in the hotel or lounge.
