Public Transport to our airports - what's cheapest?

Actually it was the walk from the DFO to International that was the worst bit: that's where the mozzies got me. 1754274946 Sure; but I was keen on getting some exercise.. I'll just walk around the terminal lounge next time.

Public Transport to our airports - what's cheapest?

This is the thing for me. I like walking and my GP wants me to walk at least 45 mins per day. When I travel without +1 (she's not a walker) I will usually walk part of the way; for example, I'll walk from Syd domestic to Mascot station (not to save the bus fare but to get the exercise)...

    Air India B787 crash Ahmedabad

I wish people would wait until the investigation is completed. I've seen two programs on TV recently stating that one of the pilots committed suicide. There are other possible scenarios but it doesn't stop the media from making a $ in the meantime..

IBERIA flouting EU261. Any recommendations or success?

There's a Hilton Airport Hotel in Madrid although it's about a half hour walk from the terminals. However, when we stayed there they had a complimentary shuttle service. Back on topic...

They should be fine. Are all your transits under 24 hours? If you can't book online, make sure you log out a couple of hours before you ring.

    Qantas Points Club Discussion

Good call regarding the rates although as @PaulyB says you could use a payment service (B2BPay, YakPay, etc.). Of course the 20x gift card offers at WOW will earn Everyday Rewards points and, as you know, you would have to transfer all your points at the same time. I think prepaying health...

How long is too long for lost baggage ?

When BA left my bag behind in LHR some years ago, their phone agent hung up on me when I telephoned and it took them 5 months to respond to my online complaint. Customer Service is not their strong point; not sure if anything is.

Interline baggage PER-SIN on SQ then SIN-USM on Bangkok - on separate tickets?!

A 65min transit on separate tickets? You'ld have to be mad IMHO. What happens if your first flight is delayed? And please don't suggest travel insurance because you won't be covered.

Honestly, I don't think you need to worry about the bags.

The Mouton Blanc is not that far up the hill; just need to drag the bag over the cobblestones. Easy for a man like you.

Another thought: heading south from Carnac towards La Rochelle you could detour via the Passage du Grois which takes you to L'île du Noirmoutier. The passage is a 4 km tidal causeway that can only be crossed at or around low tide. Aim for about two hours before low tide (don't cross more than...

    Normandy and Brittany

Those times sound pretty good to me. As far as the tides are concerned, the middle two hours of tide are when the tide will be falling fastest and the current will also be the fastest. At high tide the water will be relatively still and you will see the Mont as a true island. I would get...
