It's not feasible to pipe more qld gas to Vic (as is at capacity) to cope with Victoria's dwindling supply. And it's just silly wasting energy and the cost to chill gas to minus 160C and shipping to Vic when Vic (and nsw) already has abundant gas underground. Vic old gas fields are depleting...

Not sure how much weight to put on displayed market depth. I think that many big buyers/sellers don't put in an order @ $.. as it creates a blocking (up or down) price so anyone who wants to trade would then put in a price below/above. So we don't know the big intentions. They buy/sell any...

Thanks. A most difficult thing in reading ATO info (not just super) is their use of non self-explanatory jargon. It would be very helpful if they (or someone else) provided a glossary of their neologisms.

But doesn't a new "fully taxed" account not stay that way as soon as it has earnings? So after say just 3 years of 10% earnings it is then only about 75% "taxed"?
