I was going to start a new thread to ask something similar, but instead I'll propose to take this one a bit off topic to using AI beyond travel planning but to professional and personal life.
This weekend i've asked claude to help me build a html web app which can do a bunch of manual data...
In a good week these time with other high value small items which are on sale - certain moisturisers / sunscreens, preferred shampoos, electric toothbrush heads, eye drops, olive oil, etc which I like to avoid paying full price for.
Good call, that's the current plan. Still have two monthly sweeps to work with if I time it right.
Rates might get excluded from earn (govt transactions excluded by my card) so may need to go via prepaid cards; one reason I was excited by that offer yesterday.
Neither base nor QBR points have come through from this one but yeah, will need them to land in QBR to then transfer from QBR over to my normal qff account before the membership year ends.
Will probably assume I need a different angle, in case this doesn't come through!
Good call - no travel planned but you never know. And yeah, hoping to avoid converting the extra woolies points, but was hoping to save those for a dent in next year.
I frustratingly have 2,900 QBR points and some due from a hotel stay early July - if that lands, it might push me over the 3000...
About 10k short of an end-September target to retain PC, after projected CC points earn. Don't drink so wine's not an option for me, and hoping to save my woolies points (more than I need this year) to transfer for next year's PC retain.
Any other quick-crediting 10k offers anyone has seen...
On the prepaid plan I'm on, the $5 daily option only has 1gb. Same price over a week, but with the flexibility to have heavier and lighter use days, vs having to recharge mid day if I went over 1gb.
Also, I haven tried to set up auto recharge, but I assume it would have to be done manually (vs...
That's an awesome find for frequent travellers. Assuming you don't need to use tonnes of data for photo backups etc, or it's covered by the hotel/an esim if necessary, that's an awesome option.
I'm back on Optus after a sojourn via JB hi-fi's Telstra plans with gift card bonuses. Worked out to...
Not sure if I will turn it into a trip review but with some of the other flights on this itinerary, QZ is probably a walk in the park!
QZ was your typical LCC - not much difference perceived vs Cebu Pacific, Nok air, Lion etc. Won't jump to the top of my list but yes, pleased I got there...
After talking to insurance, managed to get one of the last seats on a QZ flight out today. Hopefully the cost will only be the excess, and hopefully will make the connection tomorrow if DPS is still operating. Taxiid past what was probably the original ride on the way... Pax behind me claimed...
My flight's just been cancelled as well. JQ's only reroutes offered are tomorrow, which will see me miss a connection elsewhere in Indonesia. Time to call insurance, it seems...
Had filled up 3/4 of my trolley tonight (Thurs) before realising the 4 week offer criteria start tomorrow. Sigh.
Time is worth more than flybuys points. Due to travel will miss out on this round
