    QANTAS Cyber Incident

I know, it is. I ended up creating a ClearScore account but I’ve seen no increase in email or SMS spam

Airline livery update - who needs one?

A big disagree on this one. My favourite livery. In what way is the black fern not reflective of being NZ's national carrier? Maybe a stylised kiwi instead? The old two tone blue stripe ending with a barely recognisable koru on the tail was meh

Bengaluru and Chennai. Hotel recommendations. Must see sights

I don't think the Madras Grand Hotel we've booked is quite so grand :) We wanted station access and for that it's perfect

    Criss-crossing the Kimberley

Thanks John. Loved the TR. As I mentioned it was doubly good for me as it took me back to lots of the ;places we went on our Kimberley trip in 2023

Feedback on the AFF website & brand refresh

Unusual colour choice but unlike others I like the font. UI/CX (not airline codes) is the space that I've worked in for years now. I know how much work would have gone into this.

Bengaluru and Chennai. Hotel recommendations. Must see sights

Just to wrap up my original question - we ended up booking the Taj at the airport for the night we arrive, added another night at The Madras Grand (hotel included as part of our trip) in Chennai, and in Bengaluru for our last night we've booked Radisson Blu Atria.

The lithium battery problem has hit Australia - fire on Domestic Flight

We were talking about battery banks to a friend on the weekend. She's off to Europe and we were telling her she would most likely need to carry her powerbanks into the cabin. Flying EK I think. We didn't take one with us to Africa this year or last, or Korea over new year. We both use our...

    QANTAS Cyber Incident

I have no interest in joining the ca. Money or points isn't going to hide my details if they do get released. Money or points is not going to give me a new identity. The whole Qantas should be taught a lesson blah blah blah won't stop this, or any other hack, happening again. Not a QF...

Article: The Difference a Foot Net Makes on a Long-Haul Flight

Did not like, and therefore didn't use, the foot net on our PE flight back from JNB last month. I just stretched out as much as I could under the seat in front. I'll give the net a go on our Y flights to India later in the year.
