I'm QF WP on a Y booking. BNE-SYD-DFW-DCA-LAX-BNE. DFW-DCA is on AA, DCA-LAX is on AS. I can select MCE, but it took so much faffing about to get that PNR/get the reservation recognised by the AA system, only middle seats are left. So I'm sticking with an aisle seat further back.

I tried that, it didn't work. The PNRs I have for the booking and what showed in the BA website just weren't accepted in the AA app or website. Only the QF ticket number worked in the AA app and only then could I see the AA PNR. I have a total of three for this one booking. By the looks of it, 1...

I used this method the other week to move 8 rows forward* on an AA flight (QF codeshare) in Y for an upcoming trip. Perhaps due to codeshare, none of the PNRs I had were recognised by the AA website or app, but the QF ticket was. *Forward compared to what was available to select in QF's MMB.

We'll be starting 2026 on a Disney cruise. A recent 30% off sale prompted us to pull the trigger on the cruise we were looking at. Apart from that, I've told Mr Katie I want Christmas in Europe next year. We might need to be back before NYE for a family birthday, but we'll see.

Quite possibly. Last time we checked in there for an international connection in SYD (probably flying BNE-SYD-LAX), it took quite a while to check in; I remember the lady behind us getting very huffy.
