Yeah, no trace of AB on google flights. Southwest similarly sells only on their own app/website but they still have visibility of their itineraries (though not prices) on GF to drive traffic to their channels so they can properly upsell.

I've had terrible experience looking for domestic AA awards with QF recently. AA's regular econ award is 'Y,' and I realised I can just use expertflyer to check routes with Y available (assuming all those Ys are available to QF) Going to try calling QF to book...

There were definitely some characters but the property felt safe, there are a few other hotels nearby. Outside parking with no issues. Not sure how public transport is there, but looks like you can get the train to Jersey City, Newark, and NYC. Not much to do nearby I don't think.

Generally, I've seen people here and on FT prefer the old GUI, as do I, though everyone is worried it is going to disappear at some point. I haven't used the new one much but AFAIK it has the same functionality.

Yeah it's very powerful. I've been using it for a few months and still figuring out better ways to spec searches to get the exact results I want - though it's a lot of trial and error.

Which dates in Nov? Little more discrepancy here at $70 for exact same flights. Booking is a different matter as when I try on QF's site, they don't have show I availability on the way back. Expedia prices out QF fare to this correctly (in USD) though, so maybe competent TA could also.

I'm sure they are... Definitely some expectation on FT of (at least) premium fares dipping when Chinese carriers return. Hopefully sooner rather than later, not that I want to fly them.

What's this about QF adding a "ridiculous" amount to fly on a QF code? I checked a few dates for SYD-DXB and see max price delta of +$20aud for the cheapest Y, J, and F fares. QF and EK pretty much aligned, what am I missing? On June 8, for example, QF is about $80 cheaper in Y!

Absolutely no issue here. I'd only be concerned with a "use by." Privileged J travellers...

friendly but inexperienced staff just about sums up my visit too, though I didn't have any issues.

Less gripe today - one of my int J rewards magically turned into a revenue flight for the sake of SC and points earn.
