QF8 or should that be late? (Pilots arguing)

Re: Pilots stood down after dispute in coughpit We were fortunate to be flying on QF8 the following day so weren't affected by the delays, but as an aside, I wasn't impressed with DFW when coming off QF7 on the 4th of August. The queue for immigration was extremely long and even though we were...

How good is the massage in the first class lounge in SYD?

Had a massage in the Sydney lounge couple of weeks ago and must say it was disappointing, was offered a foot massage and it lasted barely 15 minutes.

Your chance to upgrade to Business with Qantas

Received the email this morning as well and have put through an upgrade request for SYD to DFW next week, had to do it over the phone as Qantas are having problems with their website. Also didn't realise that you can now request upgrades at the gate but only if one passenger is on the booking.

re: Strategy to get "Early" JQ check-in for International Yes, i did hear a rumour there may be a few other AFF members in the lounge, so for those of you in the Sydney lounge, if you see a group of three women having lunch (one of whom has quite a loud laugh!) please come and say hello.

    Loud in the lounge

Perhaps we can suggest to Qantas to buy a pink noise generator and run it in the lounges, its meant to eliminate someone being able to overhear conversations. Saw a story about it a few weeks back and it was claimed to increase productivity in an open plan office

Special Meals on QF local/ international Flights

My husband is a coeliac but has recently cancelled his gluten free meal preference with Qantas as he thought the food was awful and like you he hated the flight attendants making a fuss and serving his meal so much earlier than everyone else. The gluten free meals my husband got in J last week...

Funny neither did our dog, continued sleeping on her bed in the lounge room... I thought dogs are meant to sense an earthquake before it happens?

We felt it in Maribyrnong, the house moved from side to side, quite an eerie feeling, don't expect an earthquake in Melbourne!

Re: First status run kicking off soon. Qantas lady thought I was playing a joke on he It was the same crew when I did this status run last year, and coming back to make it worse, I was the only passenger in J. The FA asked if I had been dropping something off and I said I had .

Is it ethical for QF to advertise sale fares with no seats available?

Yes I did call Qantas and for a departure date of 1 August and returning on the 11th of August was offered a fare of $2686 or $2250. Interestingly adding a stopover in LAS reduced the fare to $2194. I understand that these sale fares generally have limited availability which is fine, but once...

Is it ethical for QF to advertise sale fares with no seats available?

hi, just been looking at sale fares Qantas is advertising from Melbourne to Miami from 1 August to 14 September for $1905. Sale is on until 26 May however as at today there is not a single day within this period that I can see this fare being available. Most dates the fare is over $2600. My...

    Qantas double SCs

I got the offer as well, booked a JASA last week to Broome in June so will need to cancel and rebook. The fare condition states "QF any seat award conditions apply - change/refund QF only" so I'm assuming a QF flight is refundable?

Re: QFF & TODAY show: Frequent Flyer Wednesdays (win 250K FFP's) I generally don't watch the show either but have entered the competition. Does anyone know if it went off this morning, the terms and conditions seem to exclude certain dates such as 15/2/2012 and 22/2/2012, or did i read this wrong?
