After reading this series of posts MY input seems a bit trivial! I had shoulder surgery 6 weeks ago... bicep tendon and some other stuff... I'm surprised that I am still getting fairly significant pain at times... but apparently thats not unusual. Much greater range of movement than 2 weeks...

It seems to be quite variable. I have only used Booking.com for hotels (and never had a problem..luck..or??) I recently booked a multi airline J trip on Aunt Betty via Skyscanner ..and had both airlines PNRs within a very short time. Itinerary shows on both Airline web sites exactly as booked...

And apparently travelling on an ESTA. Why not a Spousal visa? Regardless of relationship status she couldn't legally stay on that document... yet surely the risk of her doing so (with her internet husband) must be seen as unacceptably high? We don't see it I suppose but my understanding is...

If I book a flight and seats that I can pay for are available I would expect that if I paid for one then I would retain the seat. (Subject to truly operational considerations ) I realise where you are coming from but how would YOU feel if moved from a carefully chosen seat to some random...

Alamo simply requires a license that is "valid, unexpired and contains a photograph" They do specify that Learner permits are not acceptable. It really does look like a Provisional license would be OK (Which was a surprise to me... but then I'm old..lol)

Inexperienced in the QF world! I have an award flight CBR-MEL-TSV, booked with 20k AA miles (that used to be US miles ;) ) in Biz. But of course the CBR-MEL flight is in X, no Biz on that one. Will I get 2x baggage allowance at check in without argument, or at all?

In National Capital Private again 2 weeks ago for a shoulder op. Only 1 night in.. and again, a long day of nil by mouth before the actual surgery. Sandwiches afterwards. BUT..the next morning... Eggs/Bacon/Tomato/Yoghurt/Corn flakes/Toast/Juice/Tea. That was more like it! :D 🤗

Surgery on my shoulder last week. Now in a sling, and not allowed to drive for SIX weeks. (Ack!) I'm an old bachelor and I have to say I did not imagine just how difficult living with one useable arm would be. :oops: It reaches the point of hilarity at times... "Nope..can't do that either!"...
