    QF wine are hopeless

Yes, I am basically at an impasse with Qantas Wine and have just emailed the Qantas Privacy officer with those details. I added "Given Qantas' recently demonstrated lax attitude to our personal details, I will NOT send through a copy of my passport and a recent utility bill to someone in the...

    QF wine are hopeless

It's not the email which is bogus, it's like every other wine order confirmation email I have ever received. The issue is that when I now check on the order when logged into my Qantas account, the delivery date has changed, the tracking order can't be found and it asks me to contact customer...

    QF wine are hopeless

Because they can't verify me when I call (with the email they sent the confirmation to, my date of birth and my mother's maiden name), they aren't able to bring up the order to do anything. It's Kafka-esque! I have emailed the Qantas Privacy Officer.

    QF wine are hopeless

Agreed, I'm going to write the case off as a loss and avoid Qantas Wine. I'm not going to email any of those personal details because even if it is Qantas, we know how loosey goosey they are with our information.

    QF wine are hopeless

Has anyone had this happen to them before? I ordered a case of wine on 23 October, and the email received said it would be delivered on 31 October. When I log in to my Qantas account, it says delivery is expected 5 November, which is too late as I will be travelling. When I click on the...

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

They used the incorrect term. It is a system enhancement.

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Hopefully the 3 lavs they have are slightly larger than the ones in the 737s, those require ayurvedic yoga moves to turn around in even for a slim person.

    2025 Amex Membership Rewards Devaluation

Not yet it would appear. QF is busy devaluing their frequent shopper points without any help from Amex, with the effective disappearance of Classic rewards, the devaluation of the value of points for Classic Plus rewards and the continual reduction in the value of points for Points + Pay, "But...

    Qantas Classic Plus devaluation

In the AFR article on the devaluation, the Qantas spokesman demonstrates doctorate level expertise in the political art of dodging the question: “Classic Plus has unlocked millions more reward seats for members and continues to offer some of the best value across the program,” a Qantas...

    2025 Amex Membership Rewards Devaluation

There is speculation that HSBC Australia is up for sale, but when that happens, who the buyer is and what they will do with the credit card portfolio is up in the air. If NAB buy it, they'll cough it up like they did with their Citi acquisition. Other potential buyers may keep the cards as they are.

    NAB acquires Citibank Australia

Give them a go, but bear in mind that there are rumours HSBC may sell their Australia retail banking operations - which they have already done in a number of countries over the last few years, including the US, NZ, France, Brazil etc as they undergo a restructure and shrink their retail...

How to Use Up Qantas Points? Obviously not on flights

Toasters? I have become resigned to the fact that Qantas now runs a Frequent Shopper Program with an airline attached, especially when a shop at Woolworths or Uber airport ride earns you more 'valuable' points than an intra-Europe flight on one of their airline partners. I still accumulate...

    Condor considering joining Oneworld alliance

Condor do fly that route, but I'm not sure how much Condor helps with overall connectivity. If you look at it's route map, it primarily connects German airports with leisure destinations, especially in the Mediterranean and Caribbean (Condor Weltkarte – Traumziele entdecken) and doesn't have any...

Article: Should Airlines Keep Lounges Open for Delayed Flights?

The 'premium' airline United doesn't even keep all its lounges open until the flight's scheduled departure. At LAX, the SYD flight leaves at 11:30 pm, but before 10 pm they shuffle people out of the Polaris lounge to close it, and not long after they shuffle you out of the United Club in order...
