Yep they make you wait, if you scroll back in this topic you should see some indicative wait times, I can’t remember how long my wait was but it was 1 or 2 statements after I reached the target.

I've had to do it once, and it took a couple of weeks maximum despite giving a similar timeframe, I've only had something not track once over 5 years, I always use the app however, I think the web version can create more issues.

My experience is that I had autosweep on, got the points allocated and moved them to flybuys before they autoswept to velocity. No issues.

Don't hold out hope, I don't think they made me wait 3 months, but it was no less than 2.

I've got the platinum, opened 7th Feb. First Qantas points (spend only) hit 6th May. 40,000 points no received yet, showing on statement as accured. This bank is deadly serious when they say your sign up points will take 5 months.

I reckon you’ll be waiting until the next statement. I received my points for the black a statement after I met the spend (actually a day or two before), I think the Qantas version was similar but that was a few months ago now.

I can second this, I have churned both cards within last 5 months and received points.

Any of the Qantas or virgin money branded cards perhaps, or Kogan money? I don’t think the Suncorp card has an exclusion period - check its terms and conditions.

No, westpac don’t differentiate between their velocity/bank program and Qantas cards, sorry. Nab and anz do.

It probably worked out exactly how Citi wanted it to, inflated their credit card customer details before they sold to NAB, who subsequently realised why those numbers were high and was costing them money so they’ve killed it off.

That article appears to be discussing the priority pass included with the Citi prestige not the Citi premier cards. They are very different.

I’d also suggest transferring points out straight away if that works for you too, so if they pull it up at worst they could freeze or take 20000 points.
