Seems like the SC counter has reset for the aug and Sep year end. No issues continuing with QF at this stage. Should be above 600 for the month of October.

I believe some of the lounges had been contracted like QF do and will go back in house to CX. I’ve certainly noticed it at the wing where the bar tenders were not the usual quality. Hopefully going back in house will change the Cx quality.

Remember there are always one, two or three tiers more on the hamster wheel of loyalty spinning above WP. Go where they treat you well

I’m a bit surprised by the fanfare a note has caused here and on FB. I stay in a hotel 3 nights a week and have gotten these kind of notes for years as Im sure many on this forum have as well…it’s hardly revolutionary. I truly appreciate them when they are accompanied by a few extra drink...

It’s all a dark art but can work to your advantage. I have time restrictions so book flights I feel are going to be cancelled and now QF knows to book me on earlier services just like what happened on todays Syd mel flight

I think it’s very gate dependent and time dependent. For me QF suits more a quick duck in pre flight than being first port of call

Received superb service at LAX F recently. Escorted to a table in the reserved section with the behind the bar champagne which was great. Very attentive service and premium hosts were introduced and walked me to the gate despite only flying J. Those flying F didn’t seem to get the same.
