    Coles gift card offers

Sniip has a bonus for new customers spending $1k on bills, which could be worth it to generate the 20sc in the sc on the ground promotion

Has anyone used these with sniip? If so which classification do they fall under?

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

The changes last year didn’t catch me out, but came close. I’ll need to make a call whether to invest in the Accom category about half way through my membership year, and decide whether to hold the rest til October… would be annoyed if I did so and then the final tick (e.g. charity) is taken away

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

4,000 points for $200 in one or more shops. Bit of a jump from the 90 target and low hundred spend the last few weeks. Am reasonably confident either last year's data or gift card spend are impacting these targets

    Getting to Uganda

I've been looking at Kenya, Uganda and Ghana lately and the best option so far seems to be Bangkok to Nairobi on QR for a paid ticket. Possibly use miles or cheaper flights between Australia and Asia. However, intra- Africa flights are a bit pricier than I expected (was initially hoping to open...

    Woolworths gift card thread

I genuinely did have a card compromised recently so have had to use the replacement card for a couple of refunds. But yes, I just use the same card and hit savings, which is linked to a transaction account, whereas credit button and NFC is linked to the credit transaction. A PITA when I choose...

    Woolworths gift card thread

I always found debit MasterCard or credit card refunds take a few days whereas EFTPOS refunds are instant. Honestly it's the only time I push savings! Edit: and you'll lose points for the refund on most award cards.

    Woolworths gift card thread

Hey now EFTPOS is still useful, I use it every time I return something to Bunnings or officeworks and want my refund to settle instantly rather than waiting three days

Are you using AI / ChatGPT for travel planning and while travelling?

Great idea, and agree re: prompt engineering. It's fascinating watching the way others use google, let alone AI. Like google, I suppose the chatbots will evolve to compensate better over time and be less frustrating, but it will be interesting. Where you might be able to add value is a novel...

Double Status Credits - QBR Exclusive (October 2025)

I suspect we wouldn't be able to use classic rewards for these? I can't recall if there's an ABN entry in the checkout process.

Are you using AI / ChatGPT for travel planning and while travelling?

As we briefly discuss in another thread I have been using Claude for a coding project but have only just started scratching the surface for travel planning - I also like the ability to set up a project and remember things. Hopefully Claude will be very helpful for my potential Africa trip.
