    V Australia reward seats loaded?

I don't think that are set up correctly. For example vaustralia from syd - lax is 94000 plus taxes (which can be paid in cash or in points) The same goes with perth - coughet. According to the website, the reward fare is 6900 points plus $350 in taxes or 51900 points including taxes. This is...

    Garuda - Check My Trip

I flew Garuda once, however the flight was booked stupidly through a travel agent before i knew about the ban they had from flying into Europe and America and the numerous numbers of incidents. However, the level of service was fine and had no complaints of the flight itself. I wouldn't fly...

    Buying iPhone overseas

A friend bought one in Hong Kong back when the 8GB 3G was released mid last year. He said it was about $110 cheaper than in Aus. I think your best bet would be to buy it here, and try to get it GST free if you can. That's roughly $800, which is roughly the same as some of the cheaper ones...

    More Virgin suckage

Well virgin is usually far cheaper than Qantas for paying customers, and therefore, there are less things to go with your service. With Qantas, you will get everything included regardless of if you want it. With virgin, you get a seat on a plane and if you want additional...

    Virgin complaints

If you wanted a direct flight, why would you have wanted rebook with Air NZ? Surely if Virgin were to change the flight plans in any way, you should be entitled to get a full refund regardless of the fare you purchased. Try going to Consumer affairs or something similar.

Comm Bank to issue AMEX... changes to QF/Velocity point earning

Re: CBA AMEX offering I think this is somewhat pointless unless CBA removes the points capping. I can already earn 100,000 points per year using my mastercard. Whats the point of a rate rate of earning card if there is still a point cap?

Article on Virgin Blue codeshare and interline relationships and alliances

I must say that I am very impressed with the expansion rate of Virgin Group, including V Australia and Velocity Rewards. In the past year or so they have made changes to their image that in my opinion, makes virgin blue look more like a full service airline than a typical budget airline. Qantas...

Air Asia Sale Fares Impossible to get???

Their sale fares sell out fairly quickly. I got some $99 sale fares for february a while back from MEL-KUL return and i got them by going through all the dates for february and seeing which ones show up. If you cant find them, they will generally be sold out.

Virgin aims at the long haul

This is really good news, however the number of frequencies they have put on is terrible. Ive never been a fan of flying with an airline that operates once weekly to a destination, however you'd assume this would be increased with the arrival of more aircraft.

    Using eBay to earn points

You dont even need to use ebay. Set up 2 paypal accounts (and yes, you are allowed more than one account, they just need to be registered to different addresses), and send money between the paypal accounts using your credit card. It does work and you will get the points, but paypal charges...
