    more than 1 Australian Amex?

I suspect the $395 is the fee for Reserve, then the gold charge and Edge are attached to Reserve for free, because I started with only Reserve and $395 in 2005, I was then later offered gold charge in 2009, then offered Edge a year later in 2010.

    Earn points on Bank Transfers

Who knows? I mean, if you want to test it, sure, go for it. However, I have learnt these in life: - when something is going well, stay below the radar. Some people try to push their luck further, but all it does is attracting unwanted attention, and either it will be taken away from you, or...

    Earn points on Bank Transfers

I am not sure if asking for annual fee refund, after earning so many free points, is acting on good faith, or, a good idea to move forward. This may just result in burning your own bridge, if, and this is only a theory, NAB actually makes a record of who is not worth having as a credit card...

Who else still holds the Citibank Free For Life Premier Card?

Why? They have not said anything about cancelling this card, and we know that NAB is trying to move this card from Citi to their new nab lending platform. Don't start spreading rumour ......

I have only ever paid attention to all the spam sent to me by Citi, and they all had a % fee. I just followed your instructions and all I got was "No eligible transactions".

I have also submitted a credit limit decrease, back to the minimum of $10k, so it would be easier to churn other cards in future.

China announces visa-free travel for Australians visiting up to 30 days (previously 15 days)

A friend crossed from Hong Kong into China twice in December, using AU passport. Both were day trips. They wrote "MTR" for flight number and skipped the question on hotel address on the landing card. Immigration asked if it was day trip, they said yes, so immigration asked what they were going...

Why International Fee Free Credit card for international travel?

Hotel deposits When the card is compromised and takes however many months to investigate and wait for reversal, it is the bank's money which is compromised, not your own cash / cash flow which is compromised.

Exactly, and HSBC is a Mastercard, AmEx is AmEx, you can't really live off just AmEx without another Visa / MC in Australia due to acceptance.

HSBC increasing credit card annual fees on 11/3/25

The annual fee is usually charged on the anniversary of your account. Say, if your Premier credit card was activated on 2024-03-11 , then your annual fee would be chargable on 2025-03-11, and per the notice, the fee would be $199 / $399 when it is charged on 2025-03-11. Say, if your Premier...

    Coles gift card offers

This is standard with most merchants, most web stores are not built for split payments. Walk into a store and ask them to order for you? The good thing with the current virtual MasterCard offer is that you won't have to travel to find stock (which costs time and money), but you still earn...
