Perhaps, but we are all entitled to our own opinion, which we are allowed to express. Looking away from something is denial….

Qantas Staff Incompetence - Ticketed 2 adults and not infant, leading to denied boarding

In the same way that I have a number of items in my car for 'just in case' stuff. So far, have had no need to use them, and I'm not intending to take them out.

Malaysia Airlines up-gauges the first of their Australian flights to A339neo.

I don’t like being pedantic, but there is no such word as ‘upguage’. Try upgrade perhaps? It’s similar to when I read somewhere that an aircraft that had been grounded for technical reasons, was ‘ungrounded’??

CR flight MEL-SYD. What's my chance of an earlier flight?

In January we were flying SYD-PER on a cash ticket with a points upgrade to J approved. The weather was dodgy and QF were flying forward as many flights as they could, and we flew out two flights earlier, and luckily enough, still had J seats. Hope the same applies to you...

That said, I would suggest get on a bike. I did much the same as you, and now have 2 x TKR since 2009. I have to admit being fit though, at 40 I was the same weight as the day I joined the Navy as a 15 year old, a measly 10 stone 3 pounds....

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

I can well remember the very full 747s flying in from Japan every second day or so, IIRC it was Sydney for the Opera House, then Ayres Rock, and then Cairns for the Barrier Reef trip and then home. Whatever happened to them? I was in Cairns for a few days when that was going on and I do recall...

    Ask The Pilot

I believe JB747 is referring to the US and Australian Defence Forces who had what they called exchange postings, whereby they sent 40 or so of their selected personnel our way, and we sent the same number to the US. The exchange postings were usually for 3 years, like for like, eg pilots with...

QFi QF303, ADL - SIN today dep about noon

And I still recall the bagging that then Premier Colin Barnet got when he proposed the building of Optus Stadium, where Pink performed. The stadium has been regularly packed out for a wide variety of sport or entertainment since it was built.

Oversized bicycle on QF from Japan

Indeed, we had 5 framed prints bought in Taipei which were professionally wrapped by the gallery, bulky but not heavy and they accepted them at the oversized luggage point which was only a few metres from the other checkins. The best part was that on arrival in Perth they were first off with...
