Very interested to see the outcome of this. I had Qantas fail to issue my reward tickets like many others. I think this might be a way for compensation. I have kept notes of calls and records as well.

Points as well. I think you are on the right track. Looks like it was booked on the wrong class. When I see the Qantas flights I got status credits but no points.
