WP and received the double points or double SC offer yesterday, so guessing it's a broad-based "fill up the forward bookings" by Bain. Will most likely cancel and rebook my AFL GF BNE-MEL & vv flights if the pricing hasn't changed.
Having said that, flew in Row 3 on one of the new layouts and was told that I couldn't have my soft laptop bag under 2A...apparently everything in Row 3 needs to go in the overhead :(:(
A little trick is to dummy a booking for say, 6 pax and see whether J is still available or not. As the J cabin is only 8, if there's less than 6 available it will say that Business is unavailable. Adjust and re-run the booking as needed.
It will be on your boarding pass under "PNR"

If it was a cancellation and rebook of a new flight, then yes, you'll likely not be eligible for the triple SC. If it's simply "fly ahead" and the lounge staff moved to to the earlier flight, then you should be fine.
Was considering going with this deal, however Alinta sent through an email advising of a drop (yes, you read correctly!) of 16% in my electricity rates to 31% below the reference rate. So long as there's no change to the reference rate then we'd be well ahead.
Unfortunately I've found most...
I've just jagged a J rewards seat for BNE-YVR and return next month, however I'm not having any luck with getting seat selection to work via the AC website - it just keeps returning an error. Has anyone had this previously and/or have a resolution (without having to call AC)??
Penne arrabiata isn't exactly tough to make, and I'd say the same for the Thai chicken soup.
Admittedly on arrival on Monday night they had Spinach and Cheese pastries, Sausage rolls and a few other bits and pieces, so not the same menu every night.
There is a triple status credits up now until Wednesday - HUGE: Triple Velocity Status Credits For 72 Hours
This would mean one MEL-BNE-CNS return leg would get you Platinum...
If you're going to do CNS then make sure it via BNE rather than SYD, as BNE-MEL (857 miles) gets into the second level of SC (80SC in J) rather than the first (55). Direct MEL-CNS is 1432 miles, so still only 80SC.
That would be 160SC each way rather than 135SC. Currently pricing out as $925...
