Has the new Armani mattress topper found its way onboard yet? Was due to be "later in 2023".

They used to have the 789 out of MEL. Have J booked in the 777 pre-Xmas. Know it won't be as good, but was able to get 2 x reward seats via VA, and obviously better than Y. We get the 388 from AUH to LHR so there is a silver lining!

Hi Ray, the plethora of posts here about current J rewards availability (particularly Australia to Europe) would suggest that 3 x J rewards will be very, very difficult. I've only ever seen 2 x seats. If you see them, book them. Good luck.

I suspect the seat map on which we can choose seats is not correct. It goes all the way back to Row 67! A bit annoying, having paid for seats at time of booking. Hopefully when check-in opens, the map is correct and Rows 44 and beyond are still available for those few rows of 2-3-2.

Flying MEL-KUL in October on AirAsiaX (D7 219). All the seat maps suggest that the A330 has a 3-3-3 configuration in Y, but the seat map we selected seats on the airline website had 2-4-2. Anyone have any intel on this? Are they flying a new A330 neo version now?

The many examples in this thread would suggest that a bid $5 or $10 above the minimum is often accepted (if there is availability). Given that route is predominantly leisure traffic, I'd be only bidding a small amount over the minimum.

It does though...? The app shows you, and online it shows how many credits you're losing and how many you'll therefore need to achieve at certain dates.

J rewards from the east coast to Perth and vice versa are like hen's teeth at the moment. Demand far outstripping supply.

Phantom inventory is a real thing with VA rewards seats, particularly with international partner airline J rewards seats, as many posts in other threads (and personal experience) will attest!

I'm glad you had a good experience. Going across to DPS is usually always good. It's DPS as a departure port that sometimes gets talked about as less than ideal.
