    Qantas' New A321XLR

But it does.. because JQ doesn't restrict who can use what toilet., so it's 232 Y config on the 321LRs works fine with 1 front and 2 back toilets. (77:1) The higher ratio only occurs on airlines with premium cabins because they restrict (or at least try to restrict) the front toilet, in QFs...

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Makes sense for passenger circulation, particularly during meals. But equally a negative for visibility of pax and exits in a safety scenario.. Plus whatever impact extra plumbing/ tanking has. Overall it seems less favoured among the airlines ordering 321s versus an extra toilet at the back...

Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

Haven't heard those. AY operates the remaining fleet successfully on HEL to places like DOH, DEL and JFK. It's just that with the Russia - Ukraine conflict they can't operate other routes they used to to more East Asian destinations.

How to maximise status on hotel programs over membership year?

Believe pretty much all the hotel program are CY end. Some offer bonuses (open or targeted), or challenges. Eg. I have a targeted double nights promo on my IHG account for Oct-Dec, and a stay one night for Silver on my Hilton account, but existing accounts with both

Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

Posts elsewhere suggest OH-LTR will also be repainted to QF colours (it's just flown to the French paint shop in CHR that OH-LTU returned from), and QF will use two wet and two dry over the Dec/ Jan period, before dropping back to two dry only.

Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

Believe that's the intent for the dry lease aircraft. AY interior, QF pretty much everything else.

Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

Now for more confusion.. Here is the new paint job for OH-LTU (you can see the rego) Photo per Boten on airliners.net Believe it's intended this will be the dry lease SYD- HNL aircraft with other wet lease aircraft operating the existing SYD- SIN/ BKK.

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Reality is it's just a slightly nicer 'Air'bus for short-medium routes. And ignoring the toilet issue (which is temporary), I think Qantas missed a trick by not speccing some of the hero Airspace lighting elements at the entrance or even in the toilets like some of the other premium 321...

    Qantas' New A321XLR

The difference is JQ doesn't reserve toilets for special pax in its narrowbodies as it's (until the XLRs) all Y seating (they do in the 788) So the JQ 321LRs have three toilets over 232 Y pax - or a 77:1 ratio... And based on the proposed seatmaps for JQs 321XLR, one assumes the 12 J/PE and 196...

    Virgin Australia Neighbour-Free Seating

Air Asia used to offer a row free bid. Think once paid about A$60 for the middle 4-seats in an otherwise very packed overnight KUL-SYD flight. These days there ZoneUp bids are just to Premium or some of the Plus/ Quiet zone seats. - On the double bid.. Id be almost certain the software would...

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Interesting that OMAAT article says the extra 3rd/4th toilet will be directly behind business - which would definitely be a full height partition. Albeit don't think other 321s have had a toilet that far forward. Behind the wing or right at the back have been seen. Any source for that? My...
