    Best [Cheap] Curries around London?

+1 for Tayyabs, that was my go to when I lived in London and I still miss the lamb chops. The ambience and service isn't great, but the price was right and there was no corkage charge when you BYO.

Where will you go first when the bans are lifted?

Turkey in winter is my favourite time. The smell of chestnuts roasting on the street corners. Light dustings of snow. Magical.

    Malaysia codeshare to Tashkent

Hi all, I was at the Melbourne travel expo yesterday and noticed that Tashkent is now a codeshare on MH. The MH staff there advised a lead in price of $1350, but that it cannot be booked via their website. They recommended speaking to the Flight Centre staff, but they couldn't price it at all...

Oneworld FF Program Based in Asia

Sticking with Qantas is probably the way I would go. Flights in Asia on Malaysia Airlines in Business accrue healthily to Qantas and the international lounges are quite good. Then fly Qantas to and from Australia to make sure you get your minimum sectors to maintain status next year.

    Doha (DOH) Stopover Tips

I used to reject the Oryx for the same reason. I used to go to the Doubletree Old Town which was about a 15 minute drive. I had an issue once where the immigration official wasn't going to let me through. I had a print out of the reservation and said that I couldn't afford the airport hotel and...

    Amsterdam (AMS) Stopover Tips

The Netherlands has a strong cash culture and you may find that you cannot use a debit card as commonly as you are used to. Most train station ticket machines are cash only and may not have English translations. I found this to be a helpful guide: How to Use the Airport Train Ticket Machines |...

    Vegetarian/vegan meals in J

I'd be going JAL purely on the website. It seems to be covered pretty well which would give me confidence ordering. https://www.jal.co.jp/en/inter/service/meal/special/menu/ China Eastern is appearing much more challenging to find information on.

    Brisbane/Gold Coast to Oman Muscat

If you do break up the trip, consider a fifth freedom flight between the Emirates and Muscat. I believe Swiss Air fly Dubai - Muscat and that is usually a very affordable flight.
