Hi Serfty, I have some friends, a family of 6 who I have already gifted my two spare passes to already who need a few more. They fly out on the 14th December and two of their kids haven't flow before so looking to help them out with a bit nicer experience.

So I read the FAQ's as well and it seems it's the lounge pass that show up within two weeks of your membership year, the hotel voucher is supposed to be within 21 days of unlocking or retaining points club and for the wine voucher it says will be in 'my account' when you attain or retain point...

That will be interesting as I am about 4,379 away from points club plus, I wonder how that will work then.

Hey @HarryTheFlyer, thanks for letting me know, hope you are having a great trip. I am booked with QF to LAX then AA to SFO, so while it's 2 seperate reservation now, it was all sorted by Qantas, So I should be able to get bags checked through all the way to SFO, albeit having to pick them up...

Maybe see if a 3k ticket is still cheap to book once you have cleared immigration

My connection is just under 4 hours, arriving into LA at 4.40pm, so hopefully enough time however may or may not make the lounge (or connecting flight) if a long customs wait. I see you said you are going to cancel, however I was able to get moved onto the SYD-LAX night flight a day earlier through the Hobart call centre, however not through South Africa who said no rewards seats available.

I think these things are all possible if Virgin is to relist again anytime soon.
