Great detective work! I can see there's 1 x 4.5 rating for a Languedoc-Roussillon with 1 x 5.0 for this category so averages his Languedoc-Roussillon category to 4.8. Every other thing is 5.0 and a lot of familiar VM wines (and a lot which have averages far below 5.0!). Quite dodgy/disappointing.

Thanks so much for posting this @olympicwiz. Had been eyeing their wines off at $22/btl and had to take the plunge at $19/btl. 2017 Mataro + museum release for me. Will I regret not ordering a Shiraz pack... yes I already do, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. Cheers!

My Ironstone Shiraz were packaged in the wrapped box laying down and having just had a look there's some French word conversion on the back, so suggest your theory on this being the export packaging is spot on!
